Brief: The client had just taken over a team of network engineers who are based all over Europe. He wanted an opportunity for them to meet as a team, break down some barriers and build relationships.
Event: Outside ran a two day programme that began with the team reviewing their MIRO assessments and mapping out the team’s overall style. The group then participated in a number of classic team building activities such as balance platform, swamp crossing and spiders web with the aim of breaking down barriers, developing communication and a team ethos. In the evening the participants slept in the Ger tents and enjoyed the Wilderness Cookery activity whilst relaxing with eachother and continuing the team bonding process. On day 2 they took part in the Castle Siege programme using skills they had been taught the day before. The activities included low ropes, high ropes, and a raft build.
